ok, I think I see now. You don't upload your novel until the end. You just put in the word count and then validate it at the end by uploading the novel. I hope I have that right at last.

You can write as much or as little as you want per day! I always like to double up on my word count if I know I'm not going to be around for one day. Totally up to you.

You can do any amount you like on any day, the 1667 words is just a target to make sure you hit the 50k. Some people like to create a buffer for themselves, for example they'll write 3000 words in one...

Not silly at all! You can write as much (or as little) as you like on a day. Some have far surpassed the goal of 50,000 and some struggle to meet that goal. This experience is totally as you make it....
